Farrell's Ice Cream Eating Contest

If you have not heard about this already, today is the last day that you can participate in Farrell's Ice Cream Eating Contest. The money goes to charity, and it costs only $20 and you will get a t-shirt, a $5 off cupon, and of course, the ice cream. All you have to do is go to any Farrell's and request to do the contest. Or,  you can try to qualify at the OC Market Place on July 7 or 8 when they hold their groovy two-day Woodstock Tribute Weekend. Farrell's will be there and they will hold two qualifying rounds, one at 12:30p and the other at 2:30p. Get there early to sign up. (I will try and be there). Details for each category:

-Ages - 9 - 15

-Qualifying Sundae – Jr. 3-scoop sundae
-Championship Sundae – Jr. Pig’s Trough, modified smaller 6-scoop sundae.
-Grand Prize - One Year of FREE Farrell's Ice Cream
-The Big and Small Pig’s Trough Challenge
-2-persons, ages 16+ and 9 and under
-Qualifying Cost - $20 per adult / child team
-Qualifying Sundae – 3-scoop sundae
-Championship Sundae – Farrell’s Famous Pig’s Trough, 6-scoop sundae
-Grand Prize - One Year of FREE Farrell's Ice Cream
-The 4-person Zoo Challenge
-4-person team, ages 16+
-Qualifying Cost - $20 per person ($80 total for the 4-person team)
-Qualifying Sundae – 3-scoop sundae
-Championship Sundae – Farrell’s Famous Zoo to eat as a team
-Grand Prize - One Year of FREE Farrell's Ice Cream
-Men’s and Women’s Professional Zoo Challenge
-Ages – 16+
-Qualifying Cost - $40 per person
-Qualifying Sundae – Farrell’s Famous Pig’s Trough, 6-scoop sundae
-Championship Sundae – Farrell’s Famous Zoo to eat individually
-Grand Prize - One Year of FREE Farrell's Ice Cream AND $500!!
